Why Do Catholics Pray to the Saints?

Ascension Presents · 7:46

Catholic teaching, explained by Catholics Video by Ascension Presents

Ascension Presents explains why Catholics ask the saints to pray for them.

In the New Testament every believer is a saint (Romans 1:7), and there is one mediator, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). See Praying to the saints.

Welcome to CatholicTok

CatholicTok sets what the Catholic Church teaches beside what the Bible says, one topic at a time.

We quote the Catechism of the Catholic Church in its own words, with its paragraph numbers and a link to the official text, and the Bible word for word with references. We critique teachings, never people.

Everything here is free. Reading needs no account.
