Who we are

CatholicTok is run by Christians who believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We set Catholic teaching beside Scripture. One rule: every quotation is real and checkable, and we critique teachings, never people.

The Bible

All Bible quotations are from the World English Bible (public domain), reproduced word for word with the reference, and linked to the full chapter so you can read the context.

The Catechism

Catholic teaching is quoted from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (vatican.va), word for word, with its paragraph number and a link to the official text, so you can check every quotation in context. A build check refuses any quotation that is not exact.

Fairness

Every topic states how Catholics answer, in their own terms, before giving the reply from Scripture. Where Christians have discussed a question for centuries, we say so.

AI

The AI guide is an AI (Claude Haiku 5.5, or Llama 3.3 on Cloudflare Workers AI), labelled AI everywhere. It never pretends to be a person and never prays for you.

Testimonies

We never invent testimonies. Stories are shared by members, checked by automated moderation, and labelled as shared by a member, not verified by us. Stories are always set beside Scripture.

Images and video

Anything made with AI is labelled Illustration, AI-generated or AI-generated video. Nothing graphic: we show the truth of Jesus' words without gore.
